Just a quick note, the Bronx Zoo Forum is NOT associated with the Bronx Zoo or WCS. It is a service of 411 New York to help New York locals and visitors have a better experience while attending the Bronx Zoo.

Maybe in the future there will be an association as with BoA, ZipCar, etc.

Since it take multiple visits to get the full experience and a visitor may only get the chance to visit once, we created the service to help do just that.

Hi Bronx Zoo. And it’s good that BofA is a partner, and I’m all for giving them credit, and I applaud you for pointing out that the offer you mentioned wouldn’t help me before I clicked on it. I still remain unsatisfied with the entire experience. It’s good that you have a forum that addresses some of these issues; it’s bad that you don’t direct potential or existing members to the forum before they sign up or renew membership. It’s bad that your direct marketing is misleading. It’s bad that you can’t solve a simple issue that seems to spring from geography (the actual location of the parking gate relative to the membership booth, the financial separation of parking franchise from membership sales) with a simple credit after the fact. Think about it. Send me a single extra parking coupon and no harm, no foul. Are you telling me that the Bronx Zoo can’t afford do that for all the disgruntled renewals who got stuck for an extra parking charge because they renewed at the Park, as directed to do by your marketing materials?

Thanks for the info, Bronx Zoo. In fact, I bank with BoA. We frequently bring friends on the BoA free days. So what do I have to do to get my $50? (The link doesn’t seem to work.)

It also on the .com site as well but the wording isn’t too clear but you are right, it’s not the point and the credit should be retro active.

There is one way I know how to get it back the funds back tho. Bank of America is a Bronx Zoo partner an if you sign up with BoA, BoA will give you $50 (was $75 but you missed out).

The $50 will go into your pocket and credit you for the parking and part of your WCS membership. If you are (or anyone) is doing it, do it by 10/31/2008. BOA Link

A plus for non WCS members is BoA card will get you in free on first weekend of the month of 2008.
